Who I am
I am Noelia, a general health and sports psychologist, with a doctorate in gender studies within sports psychology. My experience ranges from private practice to academic research, where I have explored topics such as mental health and body image, particularly in female athletes.
Within Health Psychology, I have worked extensively with children and adolescents, providing support in emotional, educational, and developmental aspects. Additionally, I have specific experience in intervention with young people and adults with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), developing strategies to improve their quality of life.
I also have extensive experience working with adults and young people on issues related to anxiety, depression, self-concept, and self-esteem. Grief is also an important part of my work, offering emotional support and providing a safe space for expression and personal reconstruction.
My professional approach is from a contextual perspective, taking into account everything that surrounds a person: their history, their environment, and the needs derived from all of this. This combination allows me to address each case from a personalised perspective, catering to both specific needs and the overall well-being of each individual.
In this space, you will find a place to reflect, grow, and work on your personal mental health or sports-related goals, if that is your aim, always with the sensitivity and commitment you deserve. Together, we can build the change you are seeking.
